Side Effects: Orphenadrine Citrate: Common side effects include dry mouth, tachycardia, palpitations, urinary hesitancy or retention, blurred vision, pupil dilation, increased ocular tension, weakness, nausea, headache, dizziness, constipation, and drowsiness. Less common reactions include sedation, skin rashes, allergic reactions, and rare cases of mental confusion and aplastic anemia. Paracetamol: Rare reports of adverse reactions such as dyspepsia, nausea, and allergic or hematological reactions.
Drug Interactions: Interacts with phenothiazines, metoclopramide, propantheline, antidepressants with anticholinergic properties, narcotic analgesics, alcohol, or anticonvulsant medicines.
Indication: Used for tension headaches, occipital headaches associated with skeletal muscle spasms in the head and neck region, and acute traumatic conditions of limbs and trunk (sprains, strains, whiplash injuries, acute torticollis, prolapsed intervertebral disc).
When Not to Use: Contraindicated in glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy or bladder neck obstruction, myasthenia gravis, esophageal spasm, pyloric or duodenal obstruction, and hypersensitivity to paracetamol or orphenadrine citrate.
Nuberol Forte Precautions: Avoid concomitant use with other medications containing orphenadrine or paracetamol.
Nuberol Forte Warnings:
- Orphenadrine Citrate should be used cautiously in patients with tachycardia, cardiac decompensation, coronary insufficiency, or cardiac arrhythmias.
- Paracetamol should be used with caution in patients with hepatic or renal dysfunction.
